The New York Giants lead the Jacksonville Jaguars, 21-3, after a dominant first half Sunday at EverBank Field in Jacksonville.
Rashad Jennings ran 19 times for 65 yards and two scores as the Giants simply over-powered Jacksonville (1-10) in the first half.
The Giants' first-half dominance was highlighted by a 19-play, 91-yard, 9:51 scoring drive that ended with a 2-yard Jennings run. That was the Giants' longest drive of the season, both in terms of yardage and time of possession.
New York had 254 yards of total offense and held the ball for 20:52. Eli Manning was 15-of-19 (77 percent completions) for 177 yards and one touchdown in the first half. Odell Beckham has five catches for 59 yards.
Rueben Randle sat out the first quarter for the Giants with an apparent suspension. He returned in the second quarter. The Giants lost right tackle Geoff Schwartz with a sprained left ankle early in the first quarter. Schwartz was playing right tackle in place of an injured Justin Pugh. Schwartz, of course, was playing in only his second game after being on short-term IR due to a dislocated toe.
