What a great few days on the football calendar.  We got three games on Thanksgiving and a weekend full of college football rivalry games. The Thanksgiving games didn't disappoint fantasy owners or DFS players as brand names like Calvin Johnson and LeSean McCoy filled up the stat sheets.  Hopefully you listened to our newest writer, Mike Gallop, as his picks on Thursday played out pretty well.

As for today, there are a few ways that we can go about making our lineups. The injury to Ryan Mallett and benching of Robert Griffin III gives us two legitimate start-able low salary quarterbacks in Ryan Fitzpatrick (5000) and Colt McCoy (6000). We can build a team using one of these two options and build another paying top dollar for either Andrew Luck (10100) or Ben Roethlisbereger (8300).

I always start my research into my lineups by looking at last week's cheap plays to see if they are still an option.  Last week Isaiah Crowell was a dirt cheap running back option in a great match up, but this week his cost has risen and his match up is unfavorable. The surprise start by Daniel "Boom" Herron last week sent many fantasy owners scrambling to switch him in for the always disappointing Trent Richardson, and they both scored about the same with most of T-Rich's points coming from his touchdown. This week Herron (5800) is supposed to start again and will have another decent match up as he gets Washington at home.

The cheap receivers last week were Kenny Stills and Marques Colston and their prices for this week were set before their Monday Night Football performances. Stills is once again very reasonable and a lot of DFS players think he will be widely owned with his 5100 price tag. The other cheap option from last week was Allen Hurns, but he really struggled against Indianapolis which may have people avoiding him this week. Hurns could be a nice contrarian play against the banged up Giants secondary.  Pierre Garcon at 5800 is another play that would be way outside the box as he has done almost nothing this season. He does get Colt McCoy back in as the starter and they did hook up for a decent game against the Titans a few weeks back.

Example Lineups

Lineup 1 I will pay for one of the top QBs and show the difference between a lineup with Luck or Roethlisberger.

Andrew Luck (10100)  If we go Roethlisberger at 8300 then I can upgrade Miller to Arian Foster at 8700.

Lamar Miller (6800) The Jets will be without Muhammad Wilkerson so that should be enough of an edge for Miller to hit value.

Dan Herron (5800)

Antonio Brown (9200)

Josh Gordon (8100) Gordon is back and he is ready to pick up right where he left off.

Kenny Stills (5100)

Travis Kelce (5300)

Chandler Catanzaro (4600)

Miami Dolphins D/ST (4900) Facing the Jets and Geno Smith....enough said.

Lineup 2 will be built around the cheapest QB option of the week in Ryan Fitzpatrick. I can tweak this lineup by dropping Hopkins for Stills and use that extra 2000 elsewhere. I can even double up at running back by going Foster and Bell.

Ryan Fitzpatrick (5000)

Le'Veon Bell (9200)

Lamar Miller (6800)

A.J. Green (9000)

Josh Gordon (8100)

DeAndre Hopkins (7100)

Travis Kelce (5300)

Chandler Catanzaro (4600)

Miami Dolphins D/ST
