Former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber has never been a Tom Coughlin fan. And now Barber is twisting the knife on his former coach, calling for Coughlin to be fired.
During a weekly radio interview, the unpopular former Giant had this to say:
"The Giants players are not listening to Tom Coughlin anymore. As much as they want to pass the buck and blame the offensive coordinator, the team got rid of Kevin Gilbride and brought in Ben McAdoo. Now they say it's the defensive coordinator's fault so maybe it's time to get rid of Perry Fewell. At some point, it trickles uphill and it has to be Tom Coughlin's responsibility. I've held off on saying it, but it is time for them to make a change at head coach."
Many of you, undoubtedly, think he's right. Many think he's wrong. That's not the point.
The point is, how long do you think Barber has waited for this opening? How much do you think he's enjoying watching his ex-coach struggle? Most likely, he's enjoying it quite a bit.
