A couple of new names appeared on the New York Giants pre-practice injury report Wednesday morning. Starting linebacker Jacquian Williams has a concussion and second-year defensive end Damontre Moore is listed with a shoulder injury. That's alarming with Moore, who did undergo offseason shoulder surgery.
The rest of the injury report is as follows:
S Nat Berhe (ankle), TE Daniel Fells (neck), RB Peyton Hillis (concussion), DT Cullen Jenkins (calf), RB Rashad Jennings (knee), DE Mathias Kiwanuka (knee).
Interestingly, punter Steve Weatherford, dealing with torn ankle ligaments since Week 1, is not on the injury report for the first time since then.
We will find out from Tom Coughlin shortly which players should practice and how serious some of these injuries are.
The Giants just signed running back Orleans Darkwa to replace the injured Michael Cox on the roster. Perhaps Coughlin will also have an update on the status of offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz.
