Can the San-chize help the Philadelphia Eagles fly? Disgraced former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is now at the helm of the Philadelphia Eagles, in place of an injured Nick Foles. He gets his first start Monday night when the Eagles (6-2) host the Carolina Panthers (3-5-1) on Monday Night Football. Game time on ESPN is 8:30 p.m. ET.

Sanchez spent five increasingly difficult years with the Jets, mostly as the poster boy for everything that had gone wrong with the franchise. He signed with the Eagles to back up Foles in an effort to resuscitate his career. Now, he has that chance.

Eagles' fans certainly appear confident that Sanchez can, at the very least, keep the Eagles on track toward the playoffs.

The Eagles are 7-point favorites.
