Giants at Eagles 2014 Odds: Giants open as 3-point underdogs

Giants will be the underdog Sunday night in Philadelphia.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Can the New York Giants go into the hostile environment of Lincoln Financial Field and knock off the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night? Oddsmakers list the Giants as 3-point underdogs as the betting week begins.

If you have been paying attention, you already know what is at stake. The Giants are 3-2 while the Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are 4-1. With the Cowboys facing the defending champion Seattle Seahawks this Sunday the Giants have an opportunity to forge a three-way tie atop the NFC East.

Even more than that, Sunday's meeting with the defending NFC East champs provides a chance for the Giants -- winners of three straight -- to put a stamp of legitimacy on their turnaround from an 0-2 start.

The Giants have been rising in NFL Power Rankings. Can they now rise to the top of their division? Follow the Big Blue View Giants-Eagles Hub Page all week for complete coverage. Visit Bleeding Green Nation for the Philly viewpoint.
