How did the New York Giants, winners of three straight, fare in NFL Power Rankings heading into Week 6 of the NFL regular season. Well, let's look around the Inter-Google and see if folks who do these things are starting to notice the Giants.
SB Nation has the Giants at No. 14, all the way up from No. 20 a week ago.
As we mentioned in another post, Peter King of SI.com has the Giants at No. 10 in his 'Fine Fifteen.'
The Washington Post has the Giants at No. 13, up just one spot from last week.
Yahoo Sports Shutdown Corner isn't convinced the Giants are for real, moving them up only to No. 20 from last week's No. 23.
CBS Sports has the Giants at No. 11, up from No. 16.
FOX Sports has the Giants at No. 14, up from the 15th spot.
Throughout the day we will update this post with more Power Rankings. The trend right now seems to be that the Giants are moving up, but not everyone is convinced they should be considered among the top half of the teams in the league. The next two weeks, when the Giants face the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys on the road, should help answer that question.
