[UPDATED WITH ROSTER MOVES:] Running back Michael Cox was signed to the team's 53-man roster off the practice squad on MOnday. Also added to the roster was cornerback Jayron Hosley, whose roster exemption expired this afternoon. Hosley was eligible for reinstatement after serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on substances of abuse.
To make room on the roster, the Giants waived wide receiver Julian Talley and cornerback Chandler Fenner.
The New York Giants will activate cornerback Jayron Hosley on Monday and waive wide receiver Julian Talley, according to a report from Art Stapleton of The Record.
Julian Talley will be waived in order for Giants to make room for Jayron Hosley on 53. Hope is he clears waivers + returns to PS. #NYG

Hosley was suspended for the first four games of the season for a violation of the league's substance abuse policy. The Giants received a one-week roster exemption that expires at 4 p.m. ET today.
Adding Hosley, a third-year cornerback, to the roster might make sense. Domonique Rodgers-Cromartie was in an out of the game on Sunday with a tender ankle, and backup Zack Bowman was seen coming back from having x-rays done after Sunday's game. Bowman, according to reports, has a shoulder injury.
The Giants are also reportedly releasing WR/KR Trindon Holliday from IR with an injury settlement.
Much more on all of this after Tom Coughlin speaks to the media at 3 p.m. Et.
