Rashad Jennings left Sunday's 30-20 victory over the Atlanta Falcons with what the New York Giants are calling a sprained left knee. Jennings' injury opened the door for rookie Andre Williams to carry 20 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and also catch a pair of passes.

Jennings is expected to undergo an MRI Monday. He said after the game that he "should be alright."

Jennings was inside watching his understudy during the fourth quarter, and he was enjoying the show.

"I was yelling, coaching him up from the TV. I know what he was seeing, I know what he was thinking, so I'm proud of him. Like I said, he's a guy that came in and kind of has been under my wing as soon as he stepped in the door, so I'm happy to see him get his feet wet and continue to grow," said Jennings. "He's going to be a dominant player in this league."

The Giants lost linebacker Spencer Paysinger during the game with a hamstring injury.

Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was in and out of the game with what he said was an ankle injury.
