The Giants took a 7-0 lead with 6:40 left in the first quarter. Eli Manning capped an 11-play, 83-yard drive that took 5:06 with a 3-yard scoring pass to Rueben Randle. The drive was highlighted by a 42-yard pass to Preston Parker and the first career reception for Odell Beckham Jr.
Atlanta responded with a 10-play, 80-yard drive for a game-tying touchdown. Stephen Jackson capped the 4:43 drive with a 10-yard run to tie the game with 1:57 left in the first quarter.
After Preston Parker fumbled the ensuing kickoff at the Giants' 21-yard line, Atlanta recovered. That led to a 20-yard field goal that gave Atlanta 10-7 lead with 14:16 left in the half.
The Giants tied the score at 10-10 with 3:40 left in the half on a 49-yard field goal by Josh Brown. That capped a nine-play, 50-yard drive that consumed 5:13.
Atlanta got a 20-yard field goal from Matt Bryant with six seconds left in the half to take a 13-10 lead. That capped an 11-play, 73-yard drive.
Manning finished the first half 10-of-15 for 110 yards and one touchdown.
