Redskins at Cowboys: NFC East match-up on Monday night

Here is your Monday Night Football open thread.

Tom Pennington

This week's Monday Night Football match-up finds the red-hot Dallas Cowboys, who vanquished the New York Giants last week to run their NFC East-leading record to 6-1, hosting the division cellar-dwelling Washington Redskins (2-5).

The Redskins won't have Robert Griffin III at quarterback. He has been listed as inactive. That means Colt McCoy will start for Washington while Griffin takes at least one more week off.

Game time: 8:30 p.m. ET

TV: ESPN:

Announcers: Mike Tiricco, Jon Gruden, Lisa Salters

Odds: Dallas -9 | Jesse's Pick: Redskins

In all honesty, the NFC East title might be out of reach for the Giants. Still, though, it would be nice to see the Redskins knock the Cowboys down a peg. At least, that's the vantage point from here.

Do you think the Redskins, with McCoy at quarterback, actually have a chance to go into Dallas and upset the Cowboys? Let us know, and enjoy the game!
