Giants Injury Report: Rashad Jennings Out Sunday

Rashad Jennings will miss his second straight game with a knee injury.

Unsurprisingly, the New York Giants are already listing starting running back Rashad Jennings as out for Sunday's bout against the Dallas Cowboys. It was suspected when it was announced that he had sprained his MCL against the Atlanta Falcons that Jennings would be out through the Giants' week 8 bye.

Expected or not, this does come as a blow to a team that could use their veteran bell-cow running back to help stabilize a shaky offense.

Also on the injury front, cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie did not practice, as he deals with a troublesom IT band (and related issues). On a positive note, linebacker Spencer Paysinger was limited today, which is an improvement from last week.

Whether or not either will play this Sunday hasn't been stated yet.

Update:

Jon Beason and Steve Weatherford both full participants in practice

Down in Dallas, the Cowboys had a number of players missing from practice:

Tony Romo (Did Not Practice, normal rest day)

Rolando McClain (Did Not Practice, excused)

Anthony Spencer (Did Not Practice)

Doug Free (Did Not Practice, Out)

Bruce Carter (Did Not Practice, Out week 6)

DeMarco Murray (Did Not Practice)

Tyron Smith (Limited, Ankle)
