NY Giants WR Victor Cruz can be the same player after injury, says ex-Jet Jim Leonhard

Inside view from Victor Cruz’s trainer: ‘He’ll scrap his way back’ | New York Post

"I expect him to attack the rehab just like he’s attacked everything else," Sean Donellan told The Post of Cruz, who is out for the season after tearing his patellar tendon in the Giants’ 27-0 Sunday night loss to the Eagles. "He loves proving people wrong. He’s been told his entire life, ‘The doors are closed.’ He wasn’t a Notre Dame guy, a Michigan guy. He wasn’t a big-time D-1 recruit. He wasn’t a draft pick. He scrapped his way onto the field, and he’ll scrap his way back from this."

"I know a lot of people are saying he can’t or won’t be the same after the surgery, and they have pointed out other players who haven’t come back the same, but I have worked with some of those guys and the difference is Victor will outwork them.

"And he will be back. I have no question about that whatsoever."

Cullen Jenkins Admits Giants Were Not Ready For Chip Kelly’s Offense " CBS Philly
"I think a lot of breakdowns came from just the speed of their offense, a lack of communication between the players," Jenkins said. "There were a lot of times where guys were confused as to what assignment they had or what the call was, and that’s something that we had practiced all week."

This made us wonder: what happens to teams that get shutout during the regular season? 151 teams have been the victim of a shutout since the start of the 1990 season, and we tracked the final results for all of them.
