No one enjoyed listening to Victor Cruz lay on the Lincoln Financial Field turf and scream in pain Sunday night, which what the New York Giants star wide receiver did after tearing the patellar tendon in his right knee during the third quarter. Here is some of the post-game reaction from the Giants to the injury.
I'm thinking about Victor. Hopefully he can heal up quickly and get back to playing football," said quarterback Eli Manning. "It was tough to say anything to him. He was in pain. Anything I would have said he wouldn't have heard me."
"You just heard him down there on the floor screaming. That's your brother down there on the floor. The guy's worked so hard to get where he is. To take a fall like that is very unfortunate," said Antrel Rolle. "Just wish him the best, man. He's a fighter. He'll bounce back."
Everyone please say a prayer for our brother @TeamVic May he have a speedy recovery and a miracle healing. Love U bro. We are one!! #NYG
