Giants' coach Tom Coughlin won't get drawn into trash talk

Coach sounds disappointed by the volume of trash talk that has taken place this week.

What did New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin think of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce questioning his math skills? Not a whole lot, actually.

"I don't know how he went into the records and found out I wasn't a very good math student," Coughlin said Friday afternoon.

As you might expect, the veteran coach sounded disappointed when asked about all the back-and-forth between the two teams this week.

"Talk is cheap, play the game. That is my message," Coughlin said. "I would be the worst person in the world to ask that of because I really don't approve of it. I don't know what it has to do with anything, except sells papers and makes for talk show stuff."

The game will come Sunday night, and with all the nonsense that has gone on this week -- silly photos, debates over math skills and anything else that has been said -- game time can't come soon enough.
