We are in the throes of the NFL offseason, at least for 30 of the 32 teams. Something we don't do enough, and we will try to get in the habit of doing at least once each week, is highlighting some of the work done by the other fine football web sites here at SB Nation. I have always called this sporadically-used feature 'Touring the Nation.' Let's take a little road trip around the nation today and see what we find.

Super Bowl Stuff

First Look: Seattle Seahawks - Mile High Report
Super Bowl XLVIII will feature the Denver Broncos facing the NFC's best, the Seattle Seahawks. Here is our first look - of many, many to come - of the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks as we get ready for the 2014 Super Bowl.

Do you feel bad for Ravens LB Elvis Dumervil? - Baltimore Beat Down
Elvis Dumervil has 35 million reasons to be happy in Baltimore, but he's probably disappointed seeing his former team earn a trip to Super Bowl XLVIII.

Richard Sherman's pass deflection: The Xs and Os behind the big story - SBNation.com
Take away the postgame interview and all the hot takes, and Richard Sherman's pass deflection is actually a pretty routine play for an extraordinary Seattle secondary. Danny Kelly breaks down the play that launched a thousand think pieces.

2014 NFL Draft Stuff

Senior Bowl Day 2 practice report - SBNation.com
Two of college football's top stars were at practice Tuesday, just not on the field. During practices, the day belonged to Northern Illinois' Jimmie Ward and Utah State's Nevin Lawson. Meanwhile, several big-name quarterbacks struggled.

Derek Carr making a name for himself at Senior Bowl - SBNation.com
The Fresno State quarterback wants to start from Day 1, and he's putting in the work to get there.

2014 NFL Draft: Does QB height matter? - Big Cat Country
Most of the quarterbacks at the 2014 Senior Bowl measured in 6'2" or shorter, but does height really matter?

Other Interesting Stuff

Remember Martellus Bennett? After one good year with the Giants The Black Unicorn bolted the swamps of New Jersey for the big bucks with the Chicago Bears. Well, after a year in Chicago Windy City Gridiron is calling Bennett "the best Chicago tight end since Mike Ditka." I was in favor of not paying Bennett big money to stay with the Giants after the 2012 season, but after a year of watching the misplaced Brandon Myers struggle I think that might have been a mistake. Of course, the salary cap would have made keeping Bennett difficult, but the Giants missed him.

Niners Nation says the Richard Sherman-Michael Crabtree story "gets more and more convoluted."

Danny Amendola was supposed to replace Wes Welker with the New England Patriots. Pat Pulpit says Amendola did not even come close to equaling Welker's production, and indicates the Pats did not trust him.

The Cleveland Browns can't seem to get anyone to coach their team. Dawgs By Nature has been following the story. Hey, maybe the Browns should never have fired Rob Chudzinski after just one season. Pretty much anyone who is not desperate seemingly wants nothing to do with that job. An idea for the Cleveland front office -- Kevin Gilbride is available.
