Good morning, New York Giants' fans! Wondering when, or if, the Giants will get around to giving head coach Tom Coughlin -- entering the final year of his contract -- an extension? Co-owner John Mara said Monday that "at some point" he and Coughlin will find the time to discuss it.
"In terms of Tom’s future, we haven’t even had that discussion yet," Mara said. "He’s obviously going to be our coach here next year and hopefully for longer than that, but we haven’t sat down to even talk about that yet. I think he’s just focused on getting the team ready for next year. At some point in the future we will sit down and talk about that."
So, an extension for the 67-year-old Coughlin is going to happen -- unless Coughlin tells Mara 2014 will be his last season. Knowing Coughlin and his boundless energy and passion for coaching, that isn't going to happen. At his season-ending press conference Coughlin joked that "I'm just a young guy in this business."
Giants Steve Weatherford and Prince Amukamara had some fun being used as props in a Kate Upton photo shoot for Vogue. That's really tough work.

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly considering former Giants tight ends coach Mike Pope for their coaching vacancy at that position.
Everybody knows the Giants need help on the offensive line. If they are going to get it in the 2014 NFL Draft, it appears they had better move quickly. NJ.com said CBS draft analyst Danr Burgler termed the group of available offensive linemen in this draft "average at best."
In the wake of the recent news about Hakeem Nicks being fined multiple times by the Giants during the 2013 season, Dan Graziano of ESPN says Nicks "doesn't look like a player in whom the Giants should invest any more time and money." You won't get any argument here.
