Giants' David Wilson feeling fine after neck surgery

Running back David Wilson is up and moving around a day after serious neck surgery.

New York Giants' running back David Wilson seems to be in excellent spirits just a day after surgery to repair a herniated disc in his neck.

Wilson first tweeted the good news that he was up and moving around surprisingly well already:

He then proved how well he is moving around, and how chipper his mood appears to be, by posting a photo on Instagram of himself mooning New York City traffic from his hospital room.

I'm not sure how mature that move is on Wilson's part. It does, however, at least show that Wilson is feeling good a day after a procedure the Giants hope will allow him to play again in 2014. Wilson's big-play ability could help as offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo designs a revised offense.
