It's a new year, and we will spend much of the next five months discussing the 2014 NFL Draft. Yes, five months! The draft is May 8-10 at Radio City Music Hall. so, what better way to ring in the new year than by discussing 2014 NFL Mock Draft selections for the New York Giants?
SB Nation draft analyst Dan Kadar posted his most recent mock draft this week. Who does he have the Giants taking with the 12th overall selection? Kadar gives the Giants Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert. He writes:
The Giants would probably love to see a linebacker like Barr or Mack available. If they're gone, this is somewhat early for a player like C.J. Mosley of Alabama. Instead, a big, athletic cornerback like Gilbert makes sense. He has the size and athleticism that will get him ranked highly by general manager Jerry Reese.
It's too early to go crazy or over-analyze any of this, but it is interesting to talk about. Thoughts, Giants' fans?
