The pro day schedule for Thursday includes workouts at Cincinnati, Clemson, Furman, Jackson State, Illinois and Nebraska. Here is a brief look at some of the players who could be of interest to the New York Giants.
Clemson
Sammy Watkins, WR -- Probably the first wide receiver off the board, will almost certainly be long gone by the time the Giants select at No. 12 this May. Ranked No. 3 overall on the Big Blue View Big Board. In his prospect profile of Watkins, 'Invictus' says Watkins will be a "a force to be reckoned with for years to come" in the NFL.
Other players worthy of paying attention to during the Clemson Pro Day are guard Brandon Thomas, wide receiver Martevis Bryant, cornerback Bashaud Breeland and quarterback Tajih Boyd. Bryant is No. 97 on the Big Blue View Big Board.
Other Noteworthy Players
Stanley Jean-Baptiste of Nebraska is a 6-foot-3, 218-pound cornerback with intriguing size and length. He could be a mid-round selection.
Dakota Dozier of Furman is a 6-4, 317-pound guard who is a potential Day 2 selection. CBS Sports says Dozier's "is upside could be massive and it wouldn't be surprising to see him gone by the end of round three."
