There are eight Pro Day workouts on the docket Wednesday, but the one almost everyone will be paying attention to will be at Texas A&M. That's because of quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Manziel did not throw at the 2014 NFL Combine, and will not throw Wednesday at the Texas A&M Pro Day. He has apparently opted only to throw at his own private Pro Day workout on March 27.

From a New York Giants' perspective, another opportunity for the team's talent evaluators to look at Aggies' wide receiver Mike Evans might be more important. Evans is thought by many to be a potential first-round pick for the Giants.

Other Pro Days being held Wednesday include Arkansas, Central Michigan, Fordham, Mississippi State, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona and Wisconsin. [Complete Pro Day schedule]

Prospects worth paying attention to in the Arkansas Pro Day include center Travis Swanson and defensive end Chris Smith, both considered mid-round selections. The Giants, of course, could use help at the center position and Swanson is considered one of the top centers in this draft class. He is ranked No. 59 on the Big Blue View Big Board.

The Wisconsin Pro Day offers another chance to evaluate several prospects who might be of interest to the Giants.

Linebacker Chris Borland is a probable Day 2 selection whose size and arm length are a concern, but whom NFL analyst Mike Mayock has praised profusely. Borland is No. 42 on the Big Blue View Big Board.Wide receiver Jared Abbrederis is another potential Day 2 pick. In a prospect profile of Abbrederis, 'Invictus' wrote that Abbrederis is "absolutely special as a route runner." Abbrederis is No. 71 on the Big Blue View Big Board.
