The New York Giants won't be drafting Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. He might not even be on their draft board. So, why should you care that Johnny Football is holding his Pro Day on Thursday?
New Giants' offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz certainly doesn't:
It's gonna be a rough day on twitter. Manziel pro day hasn't even started yet and I'm already tired of reading tweets about it.

So, why is it that you should care if you're a Giants' fan? Well, the better Manziel performs the more likely someone like the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings or some other team snatches him up before the Giants pick at No. 12. That's great news for the Giants because it leaves more premier player for them to choose from.
Must Reads
In fact, the better all the top quarterbacks do -- including Derek Carr, Jimmy Garrappolo, A.J. McCarron and anyone else who might be selected in the first three rounds -- the better it is for the Giants. That is more top talent the Giants can choose from at 12, 43rd in the second round and 74th in the third round.
So, Giants' fans, root, root, root for Johnny Football today.
You might want to pay more attention to who caught the ball here -- Mike Evans -- than the fact that Manziel threw it.
Johnny Manziel to Mike Evans. 60+ yards...
And a "BOOM!"
