Jason Pierre-Paul and Victor Cruz of the New York Giants are active for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Here are the inactives just released by the Giants:
QB Ryan Nassib, DT. Johnathan Hankins, C David Baas, OL David Diehl, TE Adrien Robinson, DE Adewale Ojomo, DE Damontre Moore.
Pierre-Paul will be seeing his first action since having offseason back surgery. Cruz will be playing for the first time since suffering a heel contusion in the second preseason game.
The fact that Hankins, the second-round pick, is a healthy scratch might be a bit of a surprise. Also, the fact that both Moore and Ojomo are scratched is a bit surprising. Moore has not played since the first preseason game due to a shoulder injury. Ojomo was added to the 53-man roster this week, and it seemed logical that if Moore or Pierre-Paul was not active Ojomo would be.
The Giants, however, have chosen to keep all of their defensive backs active.
