Ravens, Broncos kick off NFL season Thursday night

Rob Carr

The defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens open their title defense, and the 2013 NFL season, vs. the Denver Broncos on Thursday night. Game time is 8:30 p.m. ET, and will be televised by NBC.

The Broncos are 7.5-point favorites. The game is a rematch of the AFC Divisional Playoff game won in overtime by the Ravens last season. See odds for all NFL games on the SB Nation NFL Odds Page powered by Odds Shark.

The game provides New York Giants' fans a great opportunity to get a good look at the Broncos, whom the Giants face in Week 2. The Giants will be hosting the latest edition of the Manning Bowl in their home opener at MetLife Stadium.

The Giants, of course, open their season on Sunday Night Football when they face the Dallas Cowboys at the Jerry-Dome, known officially as AT&T Stadium.
