When I do my 'Five Questions' segment each week I always ask the writer from the opposing team which New York Giants player he would like to have on his team. This week is a little different.
This week the Giants play the Kansas City Chiefs. Arrowhead Pride editor Joel Thorman will choose a Giants' player he would like to have and do a separate post on that. Right here, I will choose the Chiefs' player I would like to plug into the Giants' lineup.
My choice? Running back Jamaal Charles.
In all honesty, that is a pretty easy choice to make. Charles is a 26-year-old running back with three 1,000-yard seasons to his credit, including a career-high 1,509 yards last season. He has a career average of 5.7 yards per carry. Charles has also caught 170 passes in his six-year career.
No offense to David Wilson, who might one day turn out to be a fine NFL back, but Charles already is what the Giants hope Wilson will become.
Who would you choose, Giants' fans?
