Antrel Rolle Ready For Challenge
Giants' safety Antrel Rolle is looking forward to the challenge of facing Peyton Manning.
"I love it, I love it. I love the opportunity. I love going up against the best of the best and we all know what Peyton brings to the table, a Hall of Fame quarterback. You're not going to find a quarterback that understands defenses more than Peyton," Rolle said. "He understands formations, he understands rock and roll coverages, he understands it all. There's not going to be much you can throw at him to really throw him off and confuse him but it's not going to stop us from trying."
JPP 'Not At That Game Mode'
Jason Pierre-Paul played 52 snaps Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys in his return from back surgery, and had virtually no impact on the game. He admitted Wednesday that his conditioning isn't where it needs to be.
"I'm not at that game mode. I'm fatigued. My legs are getting fatigued sometimes. I'm just trying to do the best I can," Pierre-Paul said Wednesday.
David Baas Hoping To Play Sunday
Starting center David Baas practiced for the first time on Wednesday since suffering an MCL injury during the second preseason game. Baas said afterwards that he thinks he "has a good shot" at playing Sunday vs. the Denver Broncos.
"Today, I did some good things, I thought," Baas said. "Obviously, getting back to football, there's stuff that I had to push through. But it felt good to be back out there working. It was a good step forward."
