While most of the football media is focused on mourning Tim Tebow being released by the New England Patriots, the New York Giants have started making moves of their own to finalize the 53-man roster.
The day started with a surprise tweet from safety Tyler Sash:
Thanks to the @Giants for the opportunity. #GBNB

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News the Giants have also cut wide receiver Ramses Barden.
Also cut from the Giants: WR Ramses Barden, per a league source. #NYG

Also cut from the Giants are Matt McCants and David Caldwell with Matt Broha, Charles James, and Stephen Goodin hitting the waiver wires earlier today.
To sum up the day so far:
7 cuts made so far. If you assume Will Hill to suspended list and Markus Kuhn to PUP (very possible) there are 13 moves still to come.
