Pro Football Hall of Fame 2013: Bill Parcells induction

Former New York Giants coach Bill Parcells was one of six people inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night.

“I’m honored, I’m grateful and I’m thankful," Parcells said.

Parcells' 172 career regular-season victories is 11th on the all-time list. He is ninth on the all-time list of playoff victories with 11, one behind current Giants' coach Tom Coughlin. With the Giants, Parcells went 77-49-1 (.611) in 11 seasons, with an 8-3 playoff record and the two Super Bowl titles.

Parcells, in a light-hearted moment at the beginning of his speech, said he wanted his Hall of Fame bust "somewhere near lawrence taylor so I can keep an eye on that sucker.”

Joining Parcells in the Class of 2013 were offensive lineman Larry Allen, wide receiver Cris Carter, defensive lineman Curley Culp, offensive lineman Jonathan Ogden and linebacker Dave Robinson.
