The New York Giants lost to the New England Patriots, 28-20, in their final preseason game on Thursday. The Giants suffered a bigger loss than the game, however, as running back Andre Brown suffered what is being called a slightly fractured left leg.

Whether or not Brown's injury is season-ending is yet to be determined. Brown told reporters after the game that he does not need surgery and is going for further tests.

Tight end Adrien Robinson suffered a foot injury and said after the game it is not broken. He will have an MRI on Monday. Safety Tyler Sash sustained a concussion.

On the field the Giants' starting offensive unit played three series and put together a 10-play, 91-yard touchdown drive on the final series. The touchdown came when quarterback Eli Manning passed 2 yards to Hakeem Nicks.

Manning finished 6-of-9 for 74 yards and one touchdown.

David Wilson ran six times for 37 yards. Da'Rel Scott ran four times for 25 yards and caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Curtis Painter. Head coach Tom Coughlin said he was "impressed" by Scott.

Tight end Larry Donnell led the Giants' receivers with four catches for 30 yards.
