The New York Giants had three key starters suffer injuries during Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Wide receiver Victor Cruz, center David Baas and defensive end Justin Tuck all left the game early.

Cruz suffered a bruised heel when he was interfered with on a deep pass from Eli Manning. Coach Tom Coughlin had few details, other than to say "he jammed his heel and was sore."

Coughlin was concerned, however."He runs to make his living and he's obviously got an issue," Coughlin said.

Baas went for X-rays on his knee after only three plays. The x-rays were negative and he was diagnosed with a sprained knee. Coughlin said he had "no more information" on Baas. The veteran center had multiple surgeries in the offseason, so any new injury is discouraging.

Coughlin referred to Tuck's injury as a "slight hamstring strain."

The Tuck injury continues a pattern for the veteran defensive end. He has suffered a myriad of injuries the past two seasons, and missed the first preseason game with a back issue.
