Giants' Injuries: Victor Cruz, David Baas leave game

The first offensive series of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts was not kind to the New York Giants. Wide receiver Victor Cruz and starting center David Baas both left the game with injuries.

Cruz left with what was diagnosed as a bruised heel, likely suffered on a deep throw from Eli Manning during which Cruz was interfered with. He was seen briefly on the sidelines walking without any type of wrap on his foot.

Baas left after only a couple of plays with what was diagnosed as a sprained knee.

The Giants have thus far avoided major injuries during preseason, though they have had scares with players like Antrel Rolle (ankle) and Larry Donnell (knee).

On the positive side, defensive end Justin Tuck has played well thus far after missing the first preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a back injury.

Let's see if the Giants can get through the rest of the game without losing anyone else.
