The New York Giants enter their final stretch of organized team activities (OTAs) Monday. A full week of OTAs will begin today at the Timex Performance Center, with the team's three-day mandatory mini-camp to be held next week.
Here is the complete OTA and mini-camp schedule:
OTAs
June 3-7
Mandatory Mini-Camp
June 11-13
What to Watch For
- Will there be a Hakeem Nicks sighting at the Timex this week? Don't count on it. The wide receiver has skipped the previous OTAs, and hasn't been heard from. No reason to believe that changes.
- It seems extremely unlikely Victor Cruz will attend any of the workouts. Cruz is busy looking for a new contract and negotiating for a reality TV show.
- Here is a real football question. The Giants have one spot left on their 90-man roster. What will they do with it? Bring in another running back? Bring in a true fullback with Henry Hynoski out following knee surgery? Continue to collect linebackers trying to resuscitate their careers?
