Let's continue our look at the 90-man roster the New York Giants will bring to training camp by looking at the team's veteran long-snapper, Zak DeOssie.
2012 Season In Review
It's hard to believe that DeOssie has already been long-snapping for the Giants for six seasons. He has never missed a game in six seasons and there have been few, if any, bad snaps. That was again the case in 2012.
2013 Outlook
There is no reason to think DeOssie won't be exactly what he has been for the Giants what he has been the past several seasons. That would be an exceptional long-snapper on both punts and field goals, and one of the best coverage players on the punt team despite being the snapper. Someday the fact that DeOssie only snaps and long ago gave up the idea of being an NFL linebacker will cost him a roster spot, but that won't be the case in 2013.
