We continue our analysis of the 90-man roster the New York Giants will bring to training camp today with a look at defensive end Matt Broha, one of the plethora of young, unproven defensive ends competing for a roster spot.
2012 Season In Review
Broha, an undrafted free agent from Louisiana Tech, impressed during the preseason with nine tackles and 3.5 sacks. He spent the entire season on the Giants' practice squad.
2013 Outlook
Broha, listed at 6-foot-4, 255 pounds, will have his work cut out for him in an effort to make the 53-man roster. Adrian Tracy and third-round pick Damontre Moore seem like locks to make the roster behind Jason Pierre-Paul, Justin Tuck and Mathias Kiwanuka. That leaves Broha competing with Adewale Ojomo and Justin Trattou. Unless there is an injury Broha is quite possibly headed back to the practice squad.
