New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks said Wednesday on NFL-AM that there are no lingering issues between himself and Giants coach Tom Coughlin resulting from Nicks' skipping the teams voluntary OTAs.

"We're on good terms. I understand where Coach Coughlin was coming from. I could have done a better job of reaching out to him," Nicks said. "But like I said it's in the past now. I was at mini-camp and we're all on the same page now."

Nicks refused to talk about his contract, once again denying that was the reason he stayed away from OTAs and that he wouldn't discuss it in the media.

Nicks was asked how good he and fellow wide receiver Victor Cruz can be together.

"I think we can be as good as any top tandem in the league," he said. "We just have to make sure we're on the same page with our quarterback. Just do what we do once the ball gets in our hands."

Health-wise Nicks, who suffered a broken foot last offseason and played through a knee injury that resulted in offseason surgery, said "I feel fine."

"My main goal was to be full-go and be ready for training camp. I feel like that's definitely gonna be the case and I look forward to it, Nicks said.

That would be good news for New York. Despite the development of second-year receiver Rueben Randle, a healthy Nicks is undoubtedly a difference-maker for the Giants.
