The New York Giants had over 60 players take the field Friday morning for rookie mini camp. One of the most notable players of the day wasn't participating in the camp.
Free agent linebacker Aaron Curry was seen watching the camp from the sidelines. When asked about it, Tom Coughlin said that Curry is not signed, but there is "interest". Curry had a workout today which was why he was at the facility. His presence during practice did raise an eyebrow and I wouldn't be surprised if there is Curry news soon.
The Giants also had some rookie signings taken care of. Players that have been signed are Cooper Taylor, Jonathan Hankins, Damontre Moore, and Michael Cox. Each player signed four-year deals. Finances were not revealed. Draft picks that still aren't signed are Justin Pugh, Ryan Nassib, and Eric Herman.
Full list of players can be seen here from Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. Guard Seve Rivers and defensive tackle Justin Blash were undrafted free agents that accepted the tryout invitation, but did not show up today. Reasons were unknown.
