Per his agent's Twitter account, running back Ryan Torain has re-signed with the New York Giants.
Only 11 NFL Players received the 2nd Rnd RFA Tender, congrats to @scbr3 4 being 1 of them. Well Deserved. @ryantorain back in NY 2! Congrats

So far today, the New York Giants lost Martellus Bennett to the Chicago Bears and reunited with cornerback Aaron Ross, who was cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Bringing back Torain comes at no surprise as the Giants need some depth at running back. They released Ahmad Bradshaw earlier in the offseason leaving David Wilson, Andre Brown, and Da'Rel Scott to compete.
In other news, free agent wide receiver Domenik Hixon has reportedly received an offer from the Detroit Lions. Per Mike Garafolo of USA Today, Hixon has tabled the offer for now to see what other offers are out there.
The Giants still have Hakeem Nicks, Rueben Randle, and Jerrel Jernigan. Victor Cruz is a restricted free agent. Don't be surprised if Hixon is eventually gone.
Giants WR Domenik Hixon received an offer from the Lions but has tabled it for now. Looking for a better opportunity.
