The Charlotte Observer says New York Giants' wide receivers Ramses Barden and Domenik Hixon, along with former Giants defensive tackle Chris Canty, are all likely free-agent targets for the Carolina Panthers.

Pro Football Talk lists the Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons among teams chasing free-agent defensive ends, including Osi Umenyiora of the Giants. The Boston Herald adds the New England Patriots to that list.

The Giants are reportedly among five teams who have expressed interest in Cleveland Browns kick returner/wide receiver Josh Cribbs.

Mike Garafolo of USA Today reported that the Chicago Bears are "lurking" with Giants guard Kevin Boothe.

The NFL had approved a three-day 'tampering window' prior to the start of free agency, but Commissioner Roger Goodell is warning teams not to reach agreements with potential free agents.
