Stevie Brown of Giants named to 'All-Joe Team'

Stevie Brown of the Giants showed in 2012 that he is a quality NFL safety, something he didn't get to show in previous stops with Indianapolis or Oakland.

USA TODAY Sports

For those that don't know, USA TODAY has done an annual 'All-Joe' team for the last 21 seasons. It is a way to honor those unsung heroes (or Joe's) throughout the NFL seasons. USA TODAY picks the Joe's every year and only players who have never been named to the Pro Bowl are eligible.

New York Giants' safety Stevie Brown made the list this year.

Brown had one of his best seasons with the Giants recording eight interceptions which has him tied for second in the NFL with Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks. He also ran back those interceptions for 307 yards averaging 38 yards per pick. Brown also ended the season with 11 passes defensed. Brown became a key part of the Giants' secondary defense in 2012 along with rookie Will Hill.
