Super Bowl commercials: Best and worst of all time

Here is a look at some of the best and worst Super Bowl commercials ever by our own Kelsey O'Donnell.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Not only do we get a big game Sunday, but the Super Bowl airs some of the best commercials we might see all year. Here are some of the more memorable ads in the past, and some ads we try to forget.

First, the more memorable:

Coke's Mean Joe Green Ad:

It may have been originally aired during the 1979 ad, but it's still very well known to this day.

Old Spice | The Man Your Man Could Smell Like:

Aired during 2010, it is the Old Spice Super Bowl commercial that started a long string of others.

And my personal favorite...

The Force Volkswagen Commercial:

I love this one because it reminds me of my brother and I when we were kids and running around the house trying to use the force to destroy each other.

Now for the Super Bowl ads we try to forget. Here we go:

Groupon Super Bowl Ad | Save the Money Tidbit

Humor gone wrong at it's best.

Lifeminders.com:

Hey, at least they admit in the commercial that it's the worst ad.

Finally, we have Upside Dow Clown:

I get the humor they were going for which would be funny, but they somehow managed to still make a boring commercial.

I'm sure there are other ads we can call the best and the worst, but these are some that come to mind. Hopefully tomorrow we can see more ads to remember rather than ads to forget.
