New York Giants' 2014 Schedule: Opponents known

Here is a first look at who the Giants will play in 2014.

Jeff Zelevansky

Forget the disappointment of the just-ended 2013 season, New York Giants' fans. With the season concluded we now know all of the Giants' opponents for 2014.

The schedule looks like this:

Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons

Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions

The 2014 season will begin for the Giants on Sunday, Sept. 7. Times and dates for all games will be announced later in the offseason.

Any initial thoughts, Giants' fans?

The 49ers and Colts are playoff teams, and the Cardinals just won 10 games, so those games would appear at first glance to be very challenging. They are, however, at MetLife Stadium.

The road game that jumps out is the game vs. Seattle. The 13-3 Seahawks dominated the Giants, 23-0, a couple of weeks ago at MetLife. In 2014 the teams play at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, maybe the most difficult place in the NFL for a road team.
