EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants conclude a disappointing 2013 NFL season today at MetLife Stadium vs. the Washington Redskins. Game time in 1 p.m. ET, and FOX has the broadcast.
The Giants (6-9) are playing in the hopes of avoiding their first 10-loss season since 2004. A win today and they will finish 7-3 over their final 10 games.
It is appropriate that rain has begun to fall here at MetLife. This afternoon's game is a virtually meaningless finish to a dreary season for both the Giants and the 3-12 Redskins.
The interesting stuff, in fact, begins to happen Monday for the Giants when the work of re-shaping the team for 2014 begins in earnest.
Today could be the final time we see Justin Tuck, Linval Joseph, Hakeem Nicks, David Diehl, Jon Beason and many other players in Giants' uniforms. This could also be the end of the line for several Giants' coaches.
Enjoy the game, and stay tuned. The fun is just beginning.
Giants' Inactives: Ryan Nassib, Adrein Robinson, Allen Bradford, Eric Herman, Brandon Mosley, Victor Cruz, Jason Pierre-Paul.
