Reporters who spoke to New York Giants' free-agent-to-be wide receiver Hakeem Nicks on Friday came away with an interesting impression:

Here are a few more tweets from reporters' conversations on Friday with Nicks, who most have assumed will leave the Giants after the season:
Hakeem Nicks didn't sound like he'd be too upset if the Giants tagged him. 2013 tag for WRs was $10,537,000.

Interesting. Nicks has seemed like a player with a foot out the door most of the season. Perhaps he is just covering his tracks, but perhaps not. We will see where it all goes.
