For New York Giants' fans hungry to see some of the team's younger plays get opportunities, the big news today is not who is inactive. The big news is that second-year tight end Adrien Robinson will dress for the first time this season Sunday when the Giants face the Detroit Lions.

The complete list of Giants' inactives is as follows:

OG David Diehl (knee), WR Victor Cruz (knee surgery), DE Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder), S Cooper Taylor (hamstring), RB Peyton Hillis (concussion), QB Ryan Nassib, LB Allen Bradford.

With Diehl out of the lineup it is likely that James Brewer and Brandon Mosley will be the starting guards for the Giants. Brewer's status had been in doubt due to an ankle injury.

Cruz, Pierre-Paul, Taylor and Hillis were not expected to play. Diehl made the trip from New Jersey to Detroit, but his knee won't allow him to play. One of today's major questions will be whether or not the Giants can protect Eli Manning.
