The New York Giants' inactive list for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks has plenty of familiar names on it.
Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder), cornerback Corey Webster (ankle) and safety Cooper Taylor (hamstring) were all ruled out on Friday. They will be joined on the inactive list by quarterback Ryan Nassib, tight end Adrien Robinson, offensive lineman Stephen Goodin and linebacker Allen Bradford. Newly-signed linebacker Marcus Dowtin is active in place of Bradford.
With the Giants out of the playoff race it seems unlikely that Pierre-Paul, Webster or Taylor would suit up for the Giants again this season -- even though Pierre-Paul and head coach Tom Coughlin have repeatedly said the defensive end is not shut down for the year.
Nassib and Robinson have been part of the 53-man roster all season, but have yet to be active on game day. Goodin was signed off the practice squad when Jim Cordle was place on IR several weeks ago, and Dowtin took Brandon Jacobs' roster spot when Jacobs also went on IR.
