New York Giants' headlines for Sunday, 12/15.

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY

Good morning, New York Giants' fans! The Giants face the Seattle Seahawks Sunday at 1 p.m. ET and, considering both the winter storm that hit the Northeast this weekend and the fact that today looks like a mismatch, it will be interesting to see how full MetLife Stadium.

While we wait for kickoff, and the answer to that question, there is plenty of Giants' reading material to keep you busy -- if aren't digging out from the storm, of course.

Don't miss our scouting report on Sunday's game. There is also Sam's look at what to watch today.

LT: Tom Coughlin must go | New York Post

Giants legend Lawrence Taylor has all the respect in the world for what Tom Coughlin has accomplished with Big Blue, but the NFL’s greatest defensive player said it’s time to sack the two-time Super Bowl winning coach.

"Tom Coughlin has done wonders for the Giants. Personally, I don’t know if I could play for him, but the guy is a winner, he is a fighter. But I think it is time for him to take his talents on the road,’’ Taylor told The Post Saturday night at the David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic. "He’s done all he can do for the Giants. If he wants to coach, I think he needs to take his philosophies to another team.

"After a while, the players just stop listening. I respect the man, but it’s time. As much as I like Coughlin and the job he has done, it’s time for a shakeup.’’

Beatty, Giants playing for jobs, not playoffs | New York Post

With the Giants (5-8) out of the playoffs, Beatty is among a number of Giants who are determined to leave a good impression by making the most of these last three games, beginning with Sunday’s matchup against the Seahawks at MetLife Stadium.

"You know there’s going to be changes," Beatty said. "But right now and right here I’m making a stand, saying I want to play for the New York Giants and I want to put my best foot forward and I want to give them everything I’ve got."
