Washington went ahead 14-0 in the second quarter on a pass from Robert Griffin III to Logan Paulsen. That ended an eight-play, 59-yard drive.
The Giants finally showed some life by going 74 yards in six plays and getting on the scoreboard with a 23-yard from Andre Brown. Peyton Hillis had a 27-yard run during the drive. Th touchdown made the score 14-7 with 8:46 left in the half.
The Giants tied the score at 14-14 with 35 seconds left in the half on a 22-yard pass from Eli Manning to tight end Brandon Myers.
Manning finished the first half 10-of-12 for 101 yards and one touchdown. Griffin went 16-of-17 for 149 yards and a touchdown.
