Giants' Injury Report: Jason Pierre-Paul, Brandon Jacobs, Trumaine McBride out Sunday

Jason Pierre-Paul, Trumaine McBride, Brandon Jacobs and Corey Webster have all been declared out by the New York Giants for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins, according to reports from various beat writers. Hakeem Nicks and Terrell Thomas are probable.

Pierre-Paul has been dealing with a shoulder injury since a Week 10 victory over the Oakland Raiders. He played only 27 snaps against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and at several points you could see he was in obvious discomfort. Without Pierre-Paul, rookie Damontre Moore should see extended playing time on defense for the first time this season.

Without McBride and Webster, head coach Tom Coughlin said Friday there is a "strong possibility" that second-year man Jayron Hosley will start at cornerback. Hosley suffered a hamstring injury early in the season and his playing time has been extremely limited.

Jacobs carried nine times against Dallas for 75 yards, but a knee issue that plagued him earlier in the season has apparently surfaced again. His absence likely means Peyton Hillis will be activated.

Nicks, who missed last Sunday's game with an abdominal injury, apparently made it through three days of practice unscathed and is expected to play.
