In case you are wondering, or still dreaming the impossible dream, the New York Giants' odds of reaching the 2014 Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium have now been placed at 100-1, per Bovada. Just a week ago, the Giants were at 40-1 and on a four-game winning streak.
Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys not only crashed the overly-talkative Giants back to reality, it seemed to snap oddsmakers back in line as well.
We have talked about where the Giants are in the standings. That is two games out in the NFC East with five games to play, and no chance earning division tie-breaker advantages over the Cowboys or Philadelphia Eagles.
So, what are Giants' fans to do? Well, talk about the 2014 NFL Draft, I guess. The 4-7 Giants currently have the 10th overall pick in the May draft. Yes, we now have six solid months to disagree about what the Giants should do. And we know that they almost certainly won't do what most self-proclaimed draft experts, or Giants' fans, scream that they should do.
