Here is some of the reaction from the locker room Sunday night following the New York Giants' 24-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Victor Cruz on his first-quarter fumble:
"I was going out of bounds and he stripped the ball and he ended up taking it for six. I just can't let those types of things happen. I have to take better care of the football and know that they're doing that and they're going to try and come in and strip it. I need to take better care of it."
Terrell Thomas on the loss:
"We knew we had to win this game to keep the dream alive. They made the plays when it counted and we didn't."
Thomas on his guarantee the Giants would win:
"We had to win that game. Whether I said it or not doesn't matter. When it's Cowboys-Giants there's no bulletin board material. ... We had our chances. We shot ourselves in the foot."
Brandon Jacobs on the loss:
"It's always tough, you know, when you are on the sideline and you can't do anything about what's going on. It's always painful. I thought our overall game was pretty good. We had some penalties that really hurt us during the game. We had some plays that I wish we could have had back. We just got to keep fighting and try to battle back. We got five games left, play one game at a time and just hope for some other things to happen."
Andre Brown on the remainder of the season:
"Just continue to fight, that's all we can do. See what else happens. We just have to go out there next week and continue to win football games and hope some things fall in our place."
